Section 01

Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between SoGood Hibachi LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") and you ("Client," "Host," or "you") — the individual who books or otherwise engages our services.

By completing a booking through our website, by phone, or through any other channel, and by paying a deposit, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms in full. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not proceed with a booking.

These Terms apply to all SoGood Hibachi events, regardless of how the booking was initiated, and to all communications and transactions between you and SoGood Hibachi LLC.

By checking the agreement box during booking, you confirm acceptance of these Terms. Your digital acknowledgment, together with the IP address and timestamp recorded at the time of booking, constitutes a valid and enforceable agreement.

Section 02

Description of Services

SoGood Hibachi LLC provides private, in-person hibachi chef experiences at the client's chosen location. Our service includes:

  • A private, trained hibachi chef who performs and cooks at your event location
  • A professional hibachi flat-top grill and all necessary cooking equipment
  • All food and ingredients: client's choice of 2 proteins per guest, hibachi fried rice, fresh vegetables, side salad, signature sauces, and cold flavored sake
  • A live entertainment performance — including culinary tricks, fire elements, and the full hibachi show experience
  • Any optional add-ons (appetizers, premium proteins, full-service setup) as specified and paid for at the time of booking

Services are performed at the client's designated event address. We do not operate a fixed restaurant location. All events are subject to availability and confirmation.

We reserve the right to modify our menu offerings, pricing, or available add-ons at any time. Changes will not affect confirmed bookings unless agreed upon by both parties in writing.

Section 03

Booking and Deposit

How to Book

Bookings are made through our online booking system at sogoodhibachi.com/book or through direct communication with SoGood Hibachi via phone or email. A booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received and you have received a written confirmation from us.

The $50 Deposit

A non-refundable deposit of $50.00 USD is required to confirm and reserve your event date. Upon receipt of the deposit:

  • Your selected date is immediately removed from public availability
  • A booking confirmation is sent to the email address you provided
  • A digital service agreement link is sent for your review and signature
  • Your chef is assigned and briefed on your event details prior to the event date

The $50 deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances, including cancellation, rescheduling, no-show, or change of plans. It compensates SoGood Hibachi for reserving the date, planning costs, and opportunity cost of declining other bookings for that date.

Booking Information Accuracy

You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided at the time of booking — including event address, guest count, dietary requirements, and contact details — is accurate and complete. SoGood Hibachi relies on this information to plan and execute your event. Inaccurate information that causes operational issues on the day of the event does not entitle you to a refund or service credit.

Guest Count Changes

Your final guest count may be updated up to 48 hours before your event. Changes after the 48-hour window may not be accommodated, and the originally confirmed guest count may be used to calculate your final balance if the chef has already purchased ingredients accordingly.

Gratuity

A gratuity of 18–20% of the total event cost is not included in our pricing but is strongly encouraged. Gratuity is given directly to your chef at the end of the event and is entirely at your discretion. It is never added automatically to your invoice.

Minimum Charge

All events are subject to a minimum charge based on 8 adult guests at $65.00 per person ($520.00), regardless of actual attendance on the day of the event. If fewer than 8 paying guests are present, the 8-guest minimum charge still applies.

Section 05

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by emailing sogoodhibachi22@gmail.com or by calling (737) 363-9789. Verbal cancellations without written confirmation are not accepted.

Rescheduling

We understand that plans change. If you need to reschedule, please contact us as early as possible. Rescheduling is subject to availability and must be requested at least 7 days before your original event date.

Rescheduling within 7 days of the event is treated as a cancellation and the cancellation policy above applies. A new deposit will be required to secure the new date.

SoGood Hibachi Cancellation

In the rare event that SoGood Hibachi must cancel your booking due to an emergency, illness, or circumstances beyond our control, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer a full refund of your deposit or a priority rescheduled date at no additional cost. This is the limit of our liability in such cases.

Weather & Acts of God

Outdoor events are subject to weather conditions. If extreme weather makes outdoor cooking unsafe or impractical, we will work with you to move the event indoors if a suitable indoor space is available, or reschedule to a mutually agreed date. Weather-related rescheduling initiated by SoGood Hibachi will not result in forfeiture of your deposit.

Section 06

Host Responsibilities

As the event host, you are responsible for providing and arranging the following items and conditions. Failure to provide these may result in delays, a modified experience, or — in cases where safety is compromised — cancellation of the event without refund.

Required Items
  • Tables and seating — sufficient tables and chairs for all guests attending the event
  • Dinner plates and utensils — one place setting per guest (plate, fork, knife, spoon, napkin)
  • Drinking glasses or cups — for sake and any additional beverages you wish to serve

These responsibilities can be eliminated by adding our Full-Service Setup option ($300 flat, up to 20 guests) at the time of booking.

General Host Responsibilities
  • Ensuring the event space is accessible to the chef and their equipment at the scheduled arrival time
  • Providing accurate event address information and being present (or designating a responsible adult) at the time of the chef's arrival
  • Disclosing all known food allergies and dietary restrictions for all attending guests at the time of booking
  • Ensuring your guests behave in a respectful and safe manner toward the chef throughout the event
  • Providing payment for the remaining balance before the show begins
Section 07

Space Requirements

To perform safely and effectively, our chef requires a suitable cooking environment. The following requirements apply to all events.

Outdoor Events (Recommended)
  • A flat, stable surface for the grill — patio, driveway, or lawn are all suitable
  • At least 6 feet of clear space around the grill on all sides for safety
  • Adequate space for guests to be seated and view the cooking performance
Indoor Events
  • Good ventilation is mandatory — open windows, doors, or an active exhaust fan near the cooking area
  • Smoke detectors directly above the grill area should be temporarily disabled or covered for the duration of cooking. The host is responsible for managing this.
  • A minimum of 6 feet of clear space around the grill
  • No flammable materials (curtains, decorations, loose fabric) within 4 feet of the grill

Safety refusal: If the chef arrives and determines, in their sole professional judgment, that the event space does not meet minimum safety requirements, they reserve the right to refuse to perform the service. In this case, the deposit is forfeited and a cancellation fee may apply. SoGood Hibachi will always attempt to work with the host to find a solution before exercising this right.

Section 08

Allergy & Dietary Policy

Known Allergens in Our Menu

Our standard menu contains or may come into contact with the following allergens during preparation:

  • Soy — used in sauces and seasoning throughout the menu
  • Eggs — used in hibachi fried rice and other preparations
  • Dairy (butter) — used in cooking proteins, rice, and vegetables
  • Shellfish — shrimp, scallops, and lobster tail are standard menu options
  • Wheat/Gluten — present in certain sauces; gluten-free alternatives are available on request

Our menu does not include nuts or sesame as standard ingredients. However, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free cooking environment, as our chef travels between events and cross-contact cannot be fully eliminated.

Host Disclosure Requirement

The host is responsible for disclosing all known food allergies, dietary restrictions, and intolerances for all attending guests at the time of booking. This information must be accurate and complete. Late disclosures (made on the day of the event or less than 24 hours prior) may not be accommodated depending on ingredient availability.

Allergy Acknowledgment

By completing your booking, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You have disclosed all known food allergies and dietary restrictions for all guests who will be eating at this event
  • You understand that SoGood Hibachi operates in a shared cooking environment and cannot guarantee the complete absence of any allergen
  • Guests with severe or life-threatening food allergies should consult with us before booking
  • SoGood Hibachi is not liable for allergic reactions resulting from undisclosed allergies or from cross-contact risks that were clearly communicated to you
Section 09

Travel & Service Area

SoGood Hibachi is based in Las Vegas, Nevada, and serves the greater Las Vegas metropolitan area — including Henderson, North Las Vegas, Summerlin, and Boulder City — as our primary service zone with no additional travel charge.

Extended Travel

We also accept bookings outside Las Vegas, including California (Los Angeles, Palm Springs), Arizona (Scottsdale, Phoenix), and other nearby states, subject to availability and pre-approval. For events outside the Las Vegas area, a travel surcharge of $2.00 per mile applies, calculated from our base location to the event address (one way).

Travel fees are confirmed and agreed upon before the booking is finalized. We will never apply an undisclosed travel fee. For extended travel events, additional arrangements (accommodation, logistics) may be required and will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

Service Refusal Based on Location

We reserve the right to decline bookings in locations we determine to be outside our operational capacity at any given time. If a booking is declined after a deposit has been paid due to a location issue that was not disclosed at the time of booking, a full refund of the deposit will be issued.

Section 10

Conduct & Safety

Guest Conduct

The host is responsible for the conduct of all guests at the event. Our chef has the right to perform in a professional and safe environment. Any guest who behaves in a threatening, abusive, or unsafe manner toward the chef may be asked to step back from the cooking area. If the situation escalates to a point that the chef cannot safely continue, SoGood Hibachi reserves the right to end the event. In this case, the balance due for services rendered up to that point remains payable.

Children Near the Grill

Our chef performance involves open flame and high-heat cooking. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times during the event. Children should not approach the grill or the chef's immediate cooking area unless specifically invited to do so by the chef as part of the entertainment. SoGood Hibachi is not responsible for incidents resulting from unsupervised children approaching the cooking area.

Alcohol

We provide cold flavored sake as part of our standard experience. Any additional alcohol at the event is the host's responsibility. The host is responsible for ensuring alcohol is consumed responsibly and in accordance with applicable laws. SoGood Hibachi is not liable for incidents related to alcohol consumption at the event.

Chef Refusal of Service

Our chef reserves the right to refuse service or end an event early if they determine that the safety of themselves or others is at risk, if the event space does not meet minimum safety requirements, or if guests are behaving in a manner that is abusive or threatening. SoGood Hibachi will not issue refunds for events terminated under these circumstances.

Section 11

Limitation of Liability & Waiver

Please read this section carefully. It limits SoGood Hibachi LLC's legal liability and affects your rights in the event of a dispute.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SoGood Hibachi LLC's total liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to our services — regardless of the legal theory under which the claim is brought — is limited to the total amount you paid for the specific event to which the claim relates.

SoGood Hibachi LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of enjoyment, emotional distress, or property damage not directly caused by our negligence.

Assumption of Risk

By booking a SoGood Hibachi event, you acknowledge that hibachi cooking involves open flame, high heat, and cooking equipment, and that there is an inherent degree of risk associated with these elements. You voluntarily assume this risk on behalf of yourself and all guests attending your event.

Property Damage

SoGood Hibachi LLC will not be held responsible for damage to property (flooring, walls, furniture, landscaping, or other surfaces) resulting from normal cooking operations, steam, smoke, or heat — particularly for indoor events where these risks were disclosed in advance. The host is responsible for adequately protecting the event space.

However, SoGood Hibachi LLC accepts responsibility for property damage directly caused by negligent handling of equipment by our chef. Such claims must be reported to us in writing within 48 hours of the event.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SoGood Hibachi LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) your failure to disclose accurate allergy information; (c) the conduct of your guests; or (d) your failure to comply with space or safety requirements.

Section 12

Photos, Videos & Media

Our Media

SoGood Hibachi may capture photos and videos at events for use in our marketing, social media, and website content. By booking with us, you grant SoGood Hibachi LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use event photos and videos that include your property, event setting, and general event scenes (including guests in group shots) for promotional purposes.

If you prefer that we do not photograph or film your event, please notify us in writing at the time of booking and we will respect that request. Late requests may not be accommodated.

Your Media

You are welcome to photograph and film your event freely. If you tag or mention SoGood Hibachi in social media posts, you grant us permission to share or repost your content for promotional purposes. You may revoke this permission at any time by contacting us.

Section 13

Intellectual Property

All content on the SoGood Hibachi website — including text, design, graphics, logos, images, and the overall look and feel — is owned by or licensed to SoGood Hibachi LLC and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on our website without our prior written consent. Sharing links to our website or using short excerpts with proper attribution is permitted.

The name "SoGood Hibachi," our logo, and associated marks are the property of SoGood Hibachi LLC. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.

Section 14

Disputes & Governing Law

Governing Law

These Terms and any disputes arising from them are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action must be filed in the courts of Clark County, Nevada.

Informal Resolution First

Before initiating any formal dispute, you agree to contact SoGood Hibachi in good faith to attempt to resolve the issue informally. Most concerns can be resolved quickly through direct communication. Please email us at sogoodhibachi22@gmail.com with your concern and we will respond within 5 business days.

Chargebacks

Initiating a chargeback with your payment provider without first attempting to resolve the issue directly with SoGood Hibachi is a breach of these Terms. SoGood Hibachi will contest all chargebacks with documentation of the agreed terms and your booking acknowledgment. In the event of a successful fraudulent chargeback, you may be held liable for chargeback fees and any resulting costs.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Section 15

Changes to These Terms

SoGood Hibachi LLC reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify customers with active or upcoming bookings via email.

Your continued use of our website or booking of our services after the effective date of any revision constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. The Terms in effect at the time of your booking confirmation are the Terms that govern your specific event.
