The Short Version

What You Need to Know at a Glance

The full policy is below. But here's the honest summary in plain language.

What We Collect

Your name, email, phone, event address, guest count, and dietary needs — only what's needed to plan and deliver your hibachi experience. Payment information is handled securely by Stripe, not stored by us.

How We Use It

To confirm and manage your booking, communicate before and after your event, and occasionally send relevant updates. We don't sell your information to anyone, ever.

Your Rights

You can ask what data we hold about you, request corrections, or ask us to delete it at any time. Just email us. We'll respond within 5 business days.

Section 01

Who We Are

This Privacy Policy applies to SoGood Hibachi LLC, a private hibachi experience company registered in the State of Nevada. We operate under the brand name SoGood Hibachi and provide in-home and on-site hibachi chef experiences throughout Las Vegas, Nevada, and surrounding regions.

When this policy refers to "we," "us," or "our," it means SoGood Hibachi LLC. When it refers to "you" or "your," it means any person who visits our website, submits a booking request, fills out a contact form, or communicates with us through any channel.

Our website is sogoodhibachi.com. Our primary contact email is sogoodhibachi22@gmail.com.

Section 02

What Information We Collect

We collect information only when you actively provide it to us. We do not collect information in the background without your knowledge.

Information You Provide Directly
  • Identity information — your full name as provided when booking or contacting us.
  • Contact information — email address and phone number, used to communicate with you about your event.
  • Event details — your event address, preferred date, number of guests (adults and children), occasion type (birthday, anniversary, etc.), indoor or outdoor preference, and any special requests.
  • Dietary and health information — food allergies, intolerances, and dietary preferences (vegetarian, vegan, halal, kosher, etc.) that you disclose to ensure your safety and the safety of your guests.
  • Service agreement acknowledgment — your confirmation that you have read, understood, and agreed to our service terms, liability waiver, and allergy policy at the time of booking.
  • Message content — any messages, inquiries, or notes you submit through our contact form or via email and SMS.
Payment Information

Booking deposits and payments are processed through Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment processor. We do not store, view, or have access to your full credit card number, card expiration date, or CVV. Stripe provides us only with a transaction confirmation and the last four digits of your card for reference. See Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.

Information Collected Automatically

Our website (hosted on Squarespace) may automatically collect limited technical data when you visit, including your IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, and pages visited. This data is collected by Squarespace as part of standard website hosting and analytics. We use this data only in aggregate form to understand how visitors use our website.

Section 03

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide for the following purposes, all of which are directly related to delivering and improving our service to you.

  • To confirm and manage your booking — processing your deposit, scheduling your event date, and ensuring your chef is briefed on all event details before arrival.
  • To communicate with you — sending booking confirmations, reminders, service agreements, and any pre-event or post-event follow-up via email or SMS.
  • To ensure guest safety — relaying dietary restrictions and food allergy information to your chef before your event.
  • To fulfill our legal obligations — maintaining records of signed service agreements and payment transactions as required for business and tax purposes.
  • To respond to your inquiries — answering questions submitted through our contact form, email, or phone.
  • To improve our service — reviewing feedback and booking patterns in aggregate, without identifying individuals, to improve how we operate.
  • To send relevant marketing (with your consent) — occasional updates about SoGood Hibachi, including new offerings, events, or promotions. You can opt out at any time.

We never sell your personal information. We do not share, rent, trade, or sell your data to third parties for their own marketing purposes. Full stop.
